Metanoia of Vermont Seeks Residential Staff
Metanoia of Vermont is a 501(c)3 non-profit based from a 41-acre working homestead in Strafford, Vermont. Our mission is ‘to support those who seek to follow the Way of Christ through work, prayer and study in relationship with the land.’ We are a lay Catholic community rooted in the Benedictine spiritual tradition and the spirituality of the ancient Church. We receive guests from diverse spiritual and religious backgrounds, and seek to welcome all who come to us as Christ in our midst. Those who join us in residence follow Metanoia’s Rule of Life, while also contributing to the work of this ministry. (See Rule of Life Attached) Our residential community prays the liturgy of the hours and embraces gospel simplicity. We offer hospitality to short-term guests, support families in their prayer lives, offer 30 Day Ignatian Retreats and are establishing an extended summer residential program for young adults.
The ministry of Metanoia of Vermont began in 2017, and became the full-time work of Mark and Lisa Kutolowski in 2021. We have completed our first seven-year cycle of ministry, and spent 2024 in sabbatical. We realize that we need additional stewards to bring the vision and ministry of Metanoia into this next cycle of growth and development.
We are seeking a new residential couple to join in the life at Metanoia and steward three aspects of our ministry: Director of Operations, Hospitality Manager, and Building and Grounds Manager.
For a full description of the residential positions, please contact Mark Kutolowski at mark@metanoiavt.com.
